Towards the end of this summer I will be making a voyage across country from Nashville to the west coast. I am hoping to play somewhere in every city along the way and make a LOT of new friends!
ABOUT BOB...
Available for small gatherings to music festivals, private parties, the perfect "fool on a stool" for gallery shows, wine tasting parties. If you would like a little more "flair" and variety that a traditional classical guitarist might offer, give me a call.
FIRST OF ALL
Thank you for visiting the website, if you would be so kind to sign up on the mailing list I would be happy to send you a recently recorded song (that is not available on cd yet) to say hello and thanks.

WHAT ABOUT BOB? ~
Solo acoustic finger-picking, Bob Halloran, plays dynamic, demonstrative, finger-style guitar.
Bobs guitar playing has been heard at the Greek Theatre in Hollywood, the Knitting Factory, the Coffee Gallery Backstage, "Love-fest" in Missouri and a lot of other awesome festivals in the midwest.
Bob's 30 year love affair with guitar began with early rock like "The Stones", the "WHO", the Faces, folk artists such as Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan, then discovering bluegrass music a couple of years later. "It opened up a whole new world for me... finger-picking acoustic instruments!" That led to ragtime guitar, classical guitar, and any other music that could be worked into the fretboard. After discovering John Fahey and Leo Kottke's music, Bob's passion for guitar grew tenfold! "
People often ask me what kind of music I play...I really dont know. it is a mixture of all these musics, add a little blues, some slide, I always suggest to people, Come and listen to me play, then you tell me what to call it. I am open to suggestions."
If you are a player and have any questions about finger-style guitar and my way of attacking it, feel free to ask! I hope to see you all at a festival or show soon! ~ Bob
